He loved his job. Driving a train had been his dream since childhood, and he especially enjoyed making the train go as fast as possible.

Unfortunately, one day, he got a little too reckless and caused a crash. He survived, but one person lost their life.

He was taken to court, found guilty, and sentenced to death by electrocution.

The First Execution

On the day of his execution, he requested a single banana as his last meal. After eating it, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was thrown, sparks flew, smoke filled the air—but nothing happened.

Miraculously, he was unharmed.

By an old law, a failed execution was considered a sign of divine intervention, so he was set free. Amazingly, he even got his old job back.

The Second Crash

Despite his near-death experience, he didn’t learn his lesson. Once again, he drove recklessly and caused another crash, this time killing two people.

He was sentenced to death again. For his final meal, he requested two bananas.

Once more, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was thrown, sparks flew, smoke filled the room—and again, he was unharmed.

By law, he was released and somehow got his job back.

The Third Incident

Predictably, he caused yet another crash, this time killing three people. He was sentenced to death for the third time.

On the day of his execution, he requested three bananas as his final meal.

The executioner, frustrated, said, “I’ve had enough of your bananas and walking out unharmed. No meal for you this time. We’re doing this now.”

The man was strapped into the chair without a last meal. The switch was pulled, sparks flew, smoke filled the room—and once again, he was completely unharmed.

The executioner was stunned.

The man smirked and said,
“Oh, the bananas had nothing to do with it.

…I’m just a bad conductor.”
