One afternoon, a doctor and his wife were enjoying a game of golf at their local country club.
As they teed off, the wife sent a stunning 300-yard drive straight down the fairway.
The doctor, astonished, exclaimed, “Wow, I’ve never seen you play this well before!”
His wife smiled and simply replied, “Well, I took lessons.”
A String of Surprises
A few days later, during a mixed doubles tennis match, the wife dominated the court. Her serves were unstoppable, and she didn’t miss a single point.
The doctor, once again amazed, said, “Wow, I’ve never seen you hit like this before!”
Calmly, she replied, “Well, I took lessons.”
Later that evening, at home, the wife prepared an exquisite dinner, complete with appetizers, two perfect plates of Beef Wellington, and a flawless Baked Alaska for dessert.
The doctor, thoroughly impressed, said, “Wow, I’ve never seen you cook like this before!”
And once again, she replied, “Well, I took lessons.”
The Unexpected Twist
That night, after dinner, she gave him “that look,” and they retired to their bedroom.
About 30 minutes later, the doctor rolled over, breathless, and said, “Wow, that was amazing!”
Before his wife could respond, he added,
“I want a divorce!”
